Be "Kool" and "Konnect!" "Kesher Konnections" is here!
Kesher Konnections is a program that will allow pre-teens and teens to connect in real-time with their counterparts in Israel via Apple's I-Chat videoconferencing equipment at the Memphis Jewish High School. Paricipants will be able to share thoughts and ideas with Israeli teens on various subject matters.
Interactive sessions will be led by teachers and leaders within the Memphis Jewish community on different teen-driven topics. There will also be an opportunity to meet other Jewish teens in the community from the Reform, Conservative and Orthodox streams.
This program is open to the entire Jewish teen community and is free of cost. Kesher Konnections is being funded in part by the Lemsky Fund of the Memphis Jewish Federation.
Kesher Konnections is an informal, fun, and interactive atmosphere that is definitely "kool!"
You must pre-register at no cost for this program . Please call (901) 767-4818 for registration information.
We will meet once a month from 11:00 a.m. - 12:3 0 p.m. Of course, there will be food! Of course, there will be food!
