MEMPHIS JEWISH HIGH SCHOOL HOLDS COMMUNITY WIDE OPEN HOUSE ON TUESDAY OCTOBER 23RD

Members of the community will be given an opportunity to have personal hands on tour showcasing our state of the art facilities. A new chemistry lab and classroom have been added to our facilities. There will be personalized tours given by our parents and staff.  The administration and staff will be available to explain the unique educational opportunities that are available at the school. Staff will be available to explain the Harkness teaching method and the benefits that it provides in the educational arena.

We pride ourselves in offering the finest general studies and Jewish studies education in the region. Our school is committed to technology and our environment is a wireless broadband Internet environment, which allows us to participate in distance learning.  The Memphis Jewish High School now has both a freshman and sophomore class.  The MJHS will add a junior class beginning in the fall of 2008.

Our mission is to provide a coeducational Jewish High School that integrates a rigorous college preparatory curriculum with and intensive Jewish studies program. We are a school that can offer this opportunity to students who have experienced a day school environment and to students who realize it is never to late to be part of excellence of education is the day school arena.
